ABOUT PIMPJUICE
PIMPJUICE: is the brand name of the non-carbonated energy drink inspired by the Nelly song "Pimp Juice". Nelly also co-owns the drink. Produced by Fillmore Street Brewery, in St. Louis, Missouri USA, Pimp Juice is marketed as "Hip-Hop's #1 Energy Drink."
Pimp Juice was one of the first celebrity driven energy drinks on the market, and an example of hip hop and pop stars using their appeal to younger audiences to market and sell non-music related products.
Pimp Juice, currently only available in the Extra Strength formula, is a healthy, carbonated energy drink possessing a tropical berry flavour. PimpJuice’s artificial colouring gives it a smooth neon green glow, while its 10 % apple juice content adds a natural sweetness to its taste. Providing 100% of the body’s needed vitamin C, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12, Pimp Juice works to increase the drinker’s energy supply, which in turn enhances mental awareness, stimulates the metabolism, and battles bodily sickness.
In addition, an 250ml serving of pimp juice contains 7mg of Taurine, a conditionally essential amino acid that aids the body in its absorption of nutrients needed for optimal mental and physical performance. Pimp Juice acquires its boost from Caffeine, 80 mg per 250ml serving, and Guarana, an all-natural tropical ingredient. When roasted, Guarana seeds produce stimulating effects similar to caffeine.
Pimp Juice also includes 250 mg of D-Ribose and approximately 130 calories per serving. Pimp Juice represents the new and improved energy drink for today's active and health conscious consumer. The drink contains 100% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12 as well as 7mg of taurine. The drink is intended to taste like apples and berries, and is commonly used as mixer in alcoholic drinks such as vodka and rum. Two follow-up drinks have been released, PJ Tight (a low-carb variant) and PJ Purple Label (flavoured with grape and prickly pear).
